I’ve decided to stop numbering the prompts. It keeps me from having to look back to see what number we’re on, and since posts have dates, there really isn’t any point to numbering them. If anyone objects, feel free to let me know.
Today’s prompt comes from classic literature. Take a famous first line (It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; Call me Ishmael; etc.) and write a story/poem beginning with that line but totally unrelated to the original work. Heard out of context, what do the lines make you think of?
As always, if you’d like to post your creation, I’d love to see it.
Have a great week!
