1.  Coffee is not breakfast.  I know.  I was shocked myself.  But it’s just not.
  2. Cliche as it may sound, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You have the internet at your fingertips.  There’s got to be something you can make ahead of time that is fast, healthy and delicious.  I’m a big fan of “grab and go” breakfasts.
  3. Don’t fool yourself into thinking it’s ok for you to check Instagram or Facebook during the time you’ve set aside to take care of yourself.  That time is for self-care:  exercise, meditating, painting your nails, reading, etc.  Unplug.  This is not the time for looking at funny Gifs of puppies.
  4. Get to bed at a reasonable time. That doesn’t necessarily mean “early.” But you know when you need to wake up and you know how much sleep you need to be productive.  Note that I didn’t say “to function.”  Do the math.  That’s your new bedtime.
